When Heather had enough of the food and drink business she passed the coffee shop on to Robin and Will Curletti. Heather not only brought the first espresso/capuccino emporium to Great Barrington, but was also responsible for the town’s great sushi invasion. Today, people throughout New England have discovered from personal experience that the best pizza and salads, among other delicious menu items, is to be found at your local Four Brothers location.įUEL is the daughter of the Great Barrington Coffee Roasting Company, founded by Heather Austin. The family uses their local farm to supply the restaurants with certain dairy products and their olive orchards in Greece for olive oil. Since then the brothers expanded their portfolio of restaurants to 9 Four Brothers while adding The Boathouse in Lakeville, CT. During that same year, the famous Greek salad dressing recipe was formulated. It was the collaboration of the four brothers that gave way to the name Four Brothers Pizza Inn and its continuing success. Brothers Pizza became an immediate success! Since then, the brothers have been accommodating to customers needs by offering unique tastes, consistency, and exceptional service. Quite rapidly, their reputation and knowledge of making flavorful recipes grew. It was during that period the famous pizza recipe was founded at the Brothers Pizza location in Lakeville, CT. By 1974 the brothers owned five restaurants, one by the name of Brothers Pizza. Together they opened their first location in Connecticut during 1972. Their strong unity cultivated ideas, love for one another, and inspiration. The Stefanopoulos brothers emigrated from Greece in the early 1970’s with the hopes of success. We are recommended by ZAGAT, Frommer’s travel guide, and AAA and were included in Bon Appetit’s 50th Anniversary issue 2006 and their Best Neighborhood Restaurants issue. We have been positively reviewed by The New York Times, The Boston Globe and Capital News 9. Our beer flavors many of our made from scratch dishes, including our Cheddar Ale Soup, chilis, barbecue sauce, salad dressings and famous Chocolate Stout Cake as well as our Beer-Steamed Sausage and Steak & Stout Sandwiches. Our sausages are made by the Alpine Pork Store in Catskill, NY and Nodine’s Smokehouse in Goshen, CT.
